Squeeking???
Hey everyone, lastnight I noticed my female cruising her tank and pushing against her screen lid. Watching her do this for about 20 mins I decided to check all my husbandry, everything is perfect. High side is 90°, low side is 78°, 76% humidity. Anyways she seemed to calm down when she noticed me muckin around the tanks, so I went and left her be. About 10mins after I heard her squeek 3-4 times. Any idea what the heck her deal is? I'm wondering if shes getting aroused by my males beings so close or what...lol..any ideas would be awesome, thanks.

How much ventilation do you have? There can be a lot of things to cause nostril noise bit of shed in a nostril for example but there is also a chance of RI too. Herd to say but 76% is high and often that makes me think low air flow. The combination is ripe for bacteria and that can lead to RI.

I'm pretty sure shes about to shed, her belly is pink, but her eyes are still clear. I just changed her substrate a few days ago, I use aspen bedding so maybe dust? Airflow shouldenr be an issue due to the screen lid and fan in the room but i'll keep an eye on it.. Thanks for the insight.

sounds like a shed whistle keep a sharp eye out for other RI signs elevated head breathing and such but it does sound like something in or loose in a nostril. Lets hope that is it.

I checked her out today she sounds clear, I did notice her belly is alot pinker, so i'm betting on a shed soon. I also noticed what looks to be some stuck shed or dust around her nose. I'm keeping an eye on everything and have also decided to qt her for a week just to be safe... Thanks for helpin.
