    Opinions Please! Testing Light Tent!

    Hi guys,
I did a DIY light tent and was fiddling with lighting positions. I'd appreciate some advice on how to get the best lighting possible.

    Normal BP
2 day time bulbs on each side of the tent:

    Pastel BP
1 day time bulb from above the tent for some shadow contrast:

    Pinstripe BP
    Same setting as the Pastel:

    Albino BP
2 day time bulbs w/ crazy positioning in front of the tent
(not sure why the shadows are blue???)

    Thanks for looking!

I think the first one is best. I personally found that I had to buy a third light to get really good results, and then the camera setting make a huge difference, too.

So do you put your lights on both sides and the top of your tent? I think I'll try that next.

What settings do you use on your camera? I have a Nikon SLR and I found that Auto and Macro gave me the best shots. And I'm not the best at adjusting settings.

Great pics! The first one looks best.

You should learn to shoot in Manual (M)..Do some Google searches on it and then play around with your settings until you find what works best with your light setup...

I have my lights on the top and sides.

I no NOTHING about cameras, photography or anything of the like. I like the first pic the best in terms of contrast, sharpness and overall quality. Regardless, you have some incredible animals and the pics are all pretty cool regardless of the photographic "quality". Thanks for sharing!

First one is the best as far as lighting. All the shots are good and your snakes are goodlooking models
