How do you measure your BPs?

Just measured and weighed my girl. She is. 29" and 444g. I feel that its always a rough guess when I measure cause even with a string it is hard to get her straight enough to accurately measure. So what are all your techniques to measure?

i try to get mine to slither against a wall, it only works about half the time though

I don't really try to measure too often, but I wait til I they shed and measure it.

Yea I just like to see how she is growing. 7 inches in the last 3-4 months. She is growing quicker than I thought.

x2...I never really take length into consideration at all, but have only guessed them if asked.

I've made judgements when I see them laying against the side of the tub, but I've never actually tried. I just go by weight.
