    Ban made me do it!!!

So I have been doing a lot of research on getting a burm or retic and wasnt really gonna try to get one till like the end of this year. But with the ban messing everyone up im going to try get one now. My question is who are some good breeders. It seems like everyones backing out. And also why cant I just find a normal hypo? They are all het for albino. I know it makes a cool combo but hypo itself is really nice. Anyway If anyone has good info on some breeders that i must be oblivious to that would be great.
    Thanks

    Try Bob Clark http://bobclark.com/

    Or Tom Reagan http://tomreaganreptiles.com/

I think Tom does have a few normal hypos. Not sure about Bob. Either way, if they're not listed on their sites, you can always call. My albino burms came from Bob. I'm trying to see if I can manage to scrape together some funds for a blonde (T+) or Hypo Het Albino....neither of which are cheap at all....from Tom. I've spoken to both and both are great people to work with.

That's me right now..Oh why did I read this thread..

To OP, make sure you're ready for this. I don't want to stray you and i'm hoping to get my Retic from Denial, but if you doubt even for a second you're ready then don't take that chance... I have only had 2 large constrictors, but even I know from personal experience it isn't something to run straight into, but then again, the ban doesn't leave us much choice ayeh..? :\ I wish you luck dude.

I'd love to get one of Denial's retics as well, especially before they get banned. I've wanted a retic for years now.

I love my burms and have thought about just getting a male before the ban, maybe an albino but I love normals too so.....

If you can manage to fork out the $1200 for a hypo, Tom has some really nice stock. Everyone who's bought from him has nothing but good things to say about his animals (I belong to another forum he's on). If I'm not mistaken, he has some T+'s well but mainly works with hypos.

Thank you guys. I know I'm getting a huge investment but I know I can handle it. I do tons of research and drool over my opportunit. I love snakes and the bigger the better. As for Denials retics I don't think the ban effects retics now. I can get one of those later...hopefully

That's my point, YET. If they add them February it's going to be cutting it close.. . I wish I had that much right now, I'd throw down and get a Rock and even a Annie. I LOVE the large constrictors. <3 lol.

But be ready, and make sure you get the little one use to being handled.. changing there tempermant when they're older is harder, Mines about a year and half old and i've had him about 3 months now and he's really calmed down a lot. STILL gets worried when he is first touched and picked up but after that he goes into Pikachu mode!

Thats why i want a babyIf I didn't know better I'd hold them before they settle in. I love giving them attention. My mom does too, talks to them and doesn't like racks. But thanks for the advice. I've been looking through all these posts for first hand advice. Keep it coming

Here are some pic's of his current Hypo burm's that I was highly considering buying. I think just one of the females maybe het for granite.
