feeding question
the mojave boy i ordered is going to be here on the 26th. on the 21st theres a show in portland, and i was planning on stocking up on feeders. what i want to know is, how long on average does it take a hatchling to size up untill bigger prey is needed? right now hes on hopper mice and rat fuzzies. i know theres alot of variance since every snake is different, but was wondering if there was an average someone could give me so i can try to not pick up too many of one size, hes going to be on a 5 day schedule

He would probably move up a size after 2-3 months, then 5-6 later, then a year later.
This is what I feed mine:
50-100 grams - fuzzy rat
101-300 grams - weaned rat
301-600 grams - small rat
601-1,000+ - medium rat

Re: feeding question
Would a weaned rat be the same as a rat pup?
