Re: OMG!!! My Spider survived the spin cycle

Oh man, so glad he seems to be okay so far. Even though I love snakes, I still jumped and shrieked when my boyfriend snuck a rubber one into my laundry pile. I can't imagine finding it in the wash!

Am I the only one that finds this too impossible believe? I don't doubt that a BP could swim around and somehow avoid drowning, but how could any living thing survive the spin cycle?

I bet hes the cleanest snake on the block. Good find congrats. Yea snakes love laundry piles. When i used to do hots the guy that helps me clean cages was working in the venomous room and the idiot didnt fully close the lock hatch on one of the gaboon cages. Well that night i had washed and dried a bunch of sbake room towels and snake bags and put them in a laundry tub and put the tub in the venomous room. The next morning i went in the room as usual and saw that the snake was missing. I freaked for obvious reasons. Not only was it the nastiest tempered gaboon i had, or that its pretty much game over if ya get nailed by one, but i knew it was in the room somewhere waiting for me. So very carefully i got the snake hook and reached into the landry bin for a snake bag so i could hunt for him. As i grabbed the bag there he was and i just got my hand out of there as he tried to tag me. Let me tell you, i think the dead heard me yell lol
