here same thing in my gmail. Gimp is only open to cut the picture out, no editing, not gonna even blur anything. Im sure marcin won't mind me advertising his snake measure program it's actually pretty sweet, does curved lines and stuff. this is him just answering a few questions I had about some of the features. but as you can see, its in my sent folder because i sent him a question, and he responded. no reason to call it fake based off of that. I guess i didn't click the down arrow to get the full email details, but yea i see nothing fake looking about it. whether the information is good or not... you know as much as I do.

Reading about the programming of the site and the programmer leaving back doors through security, makes me cringe. I don't know very much about programming, but from what I read, customer's information could be compromised.

It is also obvious that Zach and Avi are just the front men in the scheme. The programming, hardware, web services, advertising and purchasing of snakes takes a lot of money. I would guess in the tens of thousands of dollars. More money than I believe Zach and Avi have the ability to invest, given their age and background.

Someone is financially backing them and has put a lot of money into the deal. I suspected that they just shut down to obtain the proper licensing and permits. I'm sure their investors will want some return on that investment. So, they will probably be back.

Well it really does not matter who is fronting the money its illegal to do what they are doing in the state they live in.So if they attempt to launch it again myself and several other WILL make the proper phone calls to shut them down again.THATS A PROMISE ZACH OLE BOY .To be honest i think they are looking to get peoples info of there credit cards or such to rip them off that way.One way or the other if you give them "a try" you will be sorry in the long run.

I never herd of any back doors, I would be interested in that if you got a link. I do know their security was almost non-existent, they didn't even use SSL. That's just something a no body like me noticed. All information is sent as plain text, tap into it it's perfectly readable.

Supposedly Avi programmed the entire thing himself. they are renting hosting, they could be paying less than 100 a year. It doesn't do much calculating besides any search functions from what I can see, just displays information, they wouldn't need some mega host, very cheap. I don't know how much they spent on snakes or advertising. There no reason to assume tens of thousands of dollars.... that's pretty outrageous claim I have to say. Assuming he programmed it himself, it could be easily be funded by them. I see no reason to assume investors.

If you read the link posted above, the programmer charges $13,000 to build a penny auction site and he leaves back doors. Given that plus the costs of the morphs auctioned plus advertising. I think costs could easily run that high.

Reading the thread is pretty obvious the guy is just reusing old code and code he found on the net for free. Later in the thread it says the "backdoor" doesn't even work. The only association I see to ballbids is a idle page that is supposedly a copy, which is supposedly 8 lines of java script code that can be found on the net for free. Avi could of copied the same code. The guy never mentions affiliation with them from what I see. or if i'm completely missing something let me know.

I'm not defending them, I'm just trying to keep things factual with the information at the time. We don't need false information out there, they dug their hole deep with the undeniable events.

I admit that I'm not a programmer or understand the profession, but people on that site showed concern that customer data was sent via text and not encrypted. Also, from what I read they were concerned with customer data security.

I also agree that information out there should be factual because Zach and Avi will sink themselves without false information. False information and accusations just give them credibility and give them red herrings.

There was no talk of the site security and I think folks who don't read everything available should understand the risks. If you don't see risks after reading that thread, then you do have a better understanding of programming these sites than I. Thanks for your insight.
