    Freezing Rats

So since my rats are such prolific breeders and one of my live eaters seems to be on a hunger strike I've been playing with the idea of euthanizing and freezing a few of the feeder rats I've bred. I was wondering if there was a specific freezing method to use or if you just euthanize the rats, put them in a plastic bag and just set them in the freezer. It may seem like a stupid question but I just want to make sure I'm not missing out on some great way to freeze them.

I like to lay them out on a baking sheet pan and freeze them before bagging. They freeze a lot more quickly, and the rats won't fold up/ball up/scrunch up into each other and get stuck when they freeze.
