Do you feed in tank?

All of you feeding in tubs use newspaper? I feel like a snake choking down / defacating a shard of aspen could do some serious damage...?

My snakes are kept on cypress mulch. I've never had a problem with them swallowing more than a tiny piece or two of bedding. But I do make sure the f/t rats are dry when I feed them so bedding doesn't stick to them readily.
