Anywho, you should def check and double check your husbandry- too cold, too hot, improper humidity- can lead to your snake being very uncomfortable, which might cause "not normal" ball python behavior. He could also just need a little longer to get used to his new home. You don't need to feed in a separate enclosure, and it could in fact be argued that it could cause undue stress. I never feed in a separate enclosure, and Jackson has never struck at me without a mistake on my part.
