    trying f/t

    ok so my 6-7 maybe 8 month old bp monty has been eating live since he was born, but today, we decided lets try f/t! so cross your fingers please !

    Try just leaving it in the enclosure near the front of his hide. We primed him before hand with a live mouse. Our guy snuck a snack in about 5 hours after we left it in the tank. Today we primed again and then maybe 2 hours later he was more than interested in the f/t rat. Don't give up!!! Ours has been eating nothing but live for almost 2 years and didn't even want to eat rats.

    i use aspen, i wouldnt want to take the chance with him eating some and then the compaction from that is just a big hassle, do paper towels hold humidity? if so ill just switch to those forever.

    I don't know about newspaper and humidity. Paper towels do okay.
