    Help With Lesser Pricing

I'm having a really hard time finding out a reasonable price for our potential next snake. One because most classified sites are US based and the prices are skewed (much cheaper than in Canada) and two because what we're looking at is a female Lesser, breedable this year. I can barely ever find breedable females for sale.

She is gorgeous with barely any spots in her alien heads, and the ones that are there are very small. She's about 1500g empty.

We are really wanting to double the chances at BEL's (our one mojo girl doesn't seem to want to lock, so I have doubts that it will happen this year, unless MAYBE we get the Lesser).

So what would you expect to pay for a Lesser of that age and weight?

I wouldn't be surprised to see a price tag of $1000 or higher for a female lesser of that size. Now my concern would be why are they selling it? Why would someone sale a female that size that they have worked to get to breeding size?

    Howdy

I saw some 'proven' female breeders from the BEL complex for sale this past breeding season here for $1500 to $1800.
Breeding season typically boosts the pricing of all proven breeders including normals so timing will often play into pricing.

Lots of snakes, a bunch of horses and an array of other animals small and large!

    Just saw this ^^ . . . and I agree!

I do know some people that buy hatchling females, build them to breeding size and sell 'unproven' breeders for profit, but this is a rare breed for sure.

The snake is being sold by somebody I fully trust. He is quite young and has a small collection, but he is thinking of selling all his snakes to make $ so he can go travelling when he gets out of school.

Or else I would be questioning it for sure.
