    Im watching you....

Does anyone elses snakes do this? I just recently moved my ratsnake into my bedroom and everyday im watching tv shes watching ME! And when she notices that i see her she will go back into her hide, then i look away and shes watching me again!

I honestly find it really cute and funny and was just curious if anyone elses snakes does the same thing.

(Sorry for the blurry pic, i saw her and snapped a pic really quick. But in the spotlight you can see her barely sticking out of her hide just watching me lol)

Never experienced that, probably because my snakes are in racks and usually out of sight but in your picture it really does look like she was very interested in w.e you were doing. Lol

Nagini loves to stare at us, especially on feeding day. It's hilarious when all of the animals feeding schedules all match up and they are all staring hungrily at us! It's cute when our boa does it. Our pacman frog's stare is honestly the most hilariously intimidating. No curiosity in that face. Just hunger, and the thoughts "I might someday grow big enough to EAT you!" running through that brain. I love it!

Maru also stares at us sometimes! It's cute!

3 of mine do this. I got scared out last night. Sarabi is in a 55 on the floor and i was next to it, and I skim over and BOOM I see this huge mouth looking at me! lol

I love when they stare at you, it's cute! now when they try to bite at you through the cage, that's a little "not cute"

speaking of it she's doing it now.

2 of mine are in a tank (partitioned). The female will poke her head out every time I'm in the room. She came from a home that didn't feed her too often, so I always imagine she's saying, "you got rat???"

Sometimes my baby hog island boa following me in her tub when I pass by her tub. Most of all, she come out of her hide and check me out when I look inside the tub form outside. I think boas are very curious snakes.

My ball does this. Every single time I walk in the room, no matter what I'm doing, he pokes his head out of his hide and just watches me. If I go to the tank he usually pulls back in slowly. It is really cute. He's just a curious lil guy, I guess.

My other two honestly couldn't care less XD

    Re: Im watching you....

When I had my snakes in tanks I had to keep a black heat bulb running to keep my ambient temp up at night. I woke up several nights to total darkness with a light blue glow coming from the tank and this!

edit: no, he is not and was not sick
