My first ball was also a normal:

INDIANA-3 years old (have owned him since may)

The g/f wanted a snake so we picked him up off a girl on kijiji who didn't want him anymore. He if my favorite snake to introduce "non snake people" to. He is so gentil and calm. he has already turned 5 or 6 people off their snake fears. Gotta love those balls.

My first was a normal. It was a valentine's gift from my girlfriend at the time. She's now my wife and won't by me anything.

Multi-tasking while typing is not a good thing...... by = buy.

Like so many of you, my first was a normal too! Her name is Delilah, and I got her from the East Bay Vivarium in Berkeley in 2009. She's still part of my collection, and is almost breeding size now... growing a bit slower than usual, due to some feeding issues at the beginning (mouse-only and frequent faster). I wouldn't say she's the nicest snake I own, but she does have a special place in my heart.

Here she is when I first got her:

And a bit more recently (last year?):
    Lolo's Collection...
Ball Pythons: 0.4 Normals, 1.0 Pastel, 1.1 Mojaves, 1.0 Black Pastel, 2.0 Spiders, 0.1 Lesser, 1.0 Orange Ghost, 0.1 Honeybee
0.1 Spotted Python, 1.1 Stimson's Pythons, 1.0 Jungle Carpet Python
3.4 Corn Snakes, 1.1 Western Hognose Snakes, 1.2 cats, and 1.0 dog (47lb mutt)
