    They can be kept in racks - within reason. Monster carpets would probably do better in 4ft cages and might be cramped in something like a CB70 size tub. But smaller to medium size carpets do just fine in racks. Here's a pic of a female from last year sitting on a perfect 9 egg clutch - in a CB70 tub. I have quite a few that eat, breed, and lay clutches all in a CB70 rack.
