Picked up this 4x2x16 tank the other day, my male Dumeril needed more room.
I love those tanks but can't afford one so hubby built this 4' x 2' x 2' split-level condo for my Dumerils, Dixie.
[I'd swear she fills up the whole top shelf and half again now and she's 7 years old...late growth spurt??]
We're just about finished building a cabinet grade wooden one for my new Colombian, Brom.
He's getting a top-opening lid because Dixie's gotten "comfortable" enough to rocket out of her shavings and halfway out the sliding windows like a starving maniac on feeding day.
One of those "exhilarating experiences" per day is quite enough, thanks....LOL
I agree salamander. I really like the the plastic cages, but they are bit pricey. When I add a few more snakes to my collection I'm going to work on designing new cages or racks.
