What is the going rate for at least a single gene morph breeding female and how available are they?

Going price depends on the morph and the seller...I've seen 1,500+ gram pastels go for as little as $350-400, but I certainly don't think that is the norm. With just a few exceptions, you should figure $1,000+ for any breeder size female morphs. They are regularly available as well, though maybe not as much this time of year. Kingsnake.com would probably be the best place to start looking.

So I'm guessing the higher end morphs would be less available as well then.

Generally speaking, yes...but you never know, so if that's what you're looking for, you just have to be very vigilant in your search.

Single co-dom or dom females shouldnt be too hard to find, even at this time. People thin their collections, go in a different direction, or sell for other reasons. Check here, faunaclassifieds and kingsnake. Depending on the morph, you should be prepared to spend anywhere from $500 - $1000+ for a breeding size female.

So is fauna and king snake the place to sell? I've bought from people on BP.net who don't care about their rep on here but want me to bolster their rep on fauna or kingsnake. Are those just the sale end sites?

Kingsnake is by far the most heavily trafficked....Fauna has the BOI, which a lot of people go to before making a decision to purchase from someone.

generally not to expos, babies sell much better. There always a few there, but not many. you best bet is to put up a wanted ad in different places and see who contacts you.
