with the possibility of the ban I have decided to dust off my credit card and I'm going to try and find a female bel burm with a good personality. I swore to my self that i would never use it again after i payed it off last time but I really want to get this snake!

Neither do I, but remember, as I said today at work, Politicians will ban anything just to get votes, if we show that we can affect the outcome of the election then Yes, this ban will never pass. And like I stated. It better not. I'd love to see them try to take my Burmese..

Dont worry about bans...Instead stand strong and fight them until we stomp them in the ground. Sometimes we just have to remind our government that is a free country...I know I know "free" right?

Remember, they won't be taking anything, and this isn't a ban.
This is an addition to the Lacey Act, and what it will do is prohibit importation, and transportation across state lines.
Owning, breeding, and selling the snakes WITHIN the State you live in will still be legal (if it is now, of course).
The will put breeders out of business, because they won't be able to ship snakes to other States any longer. It will prevent pet owners from taking pets with them if they move to another State.
This is why it's so vitally important to defeat it.

I would love to see them try and stop me from moving states with my snakes. But then again, I am the same person who owns a pit in Miami.
