She was housed with the male (last picture) for the last 3 years so she could be prego but I was under the impression that she was just very large... both of them refused feed going to wait a couple of days and try again. The previous owners informed us that it had been at least 3 weeks for the male and longer for the female. As we dangled f/t in front of them there were alot of defensive strikes coming from the female and a few from the male (he tagged me gently lol)

I agree with the possiblity of her being in Pre-Ovy Glow. If they were housed together for three years...That would make her sexually mature about now (assuming they were both hatchlings then). Do you know how to palpate?

Very nice bp's, look normal to me but they could be something else. Great deal. Very interesting that they were housed together. I alway's read thing's saying, you should eventually seperate them when adults. Feeding shouldn't be a problem just let them acclimate a bit.

No, I don't. She weighs in at 2488g so she's definitely breeding size. I'm hoping she's not pregnant, was really hoping to try a late pairing with the butter I'm picking up at the Cleveland show this weekend. Could you give me an idea on how to palpate?

The people we got them from didn't know any better. Bought them housed together & just kept them that way. Poor things stayed on top of each other in the one hide they had pretty much all the time from what I understand. Have them separated now, the male has some pretty serious tank aggression though, been tagged twice already.
