I went over to my father's house and we decided to start a small project. These were my little brother's and my dressers when we were kids. They were just taking up room in the empty bedroom, so we emptied them out and carried them to the front yard and work began. We made a table saw- it involved a piece of plywood and a trashcan hahaha.
The cages have sliding glass doors that aren't seen in the picture (took them out because I still need to put in the cage liners over the wood) and retain a single drawer at the bottom for storage.
They are about 1.5 feet deep, 2 feet wide (each) and 6 feet tall. Believe it or not, this dresser to cage conversion actually took us two or three days.
They will be lined with plastic signage material from "the office" (my dad works at oklahoma state university and has access to some useful odds and ends). It will help protect the wood and keep humidity in.
