    Finally Got Her Back!

Miss Pastel got out in June when I forgot to latch her tub. I finally found her last month in the clothes washer. She was in between the two layers of the tub, so I had a terrible time trying to get her out, as she apparently really liked it there. There was a lot of hissing on her part and mumbling on mine. She seems to be hopefully okay as she has eaten.

I'm pretty sure she wasn't in there the entire time. She freaked me out a little when I opened the door to throw my laundry in though. I find it odd that she's at least as plump now as before she got loose. I do have a missing gecko and baby turtle. I always assumed they ate only rodents, but I'm not sure what they would do if they got desperate.

Wow I can't believe you found her after that long! She might have been able to find wild rodents. Our house is pretty secure and I wouldn't think our house would have a mouse/shrew problem, but my cat has brought me several shrews, and I wouldn't doubt that he has caught and eaten mice in this house. I have never seen them, but it's possible.
