Scored a major win off Craigslist tonight! Best $40 I've spent lately I cleaned up all the shelves and they literally look brand new. I've got the interior marinating with some bleach spray and I'll go to town tomorrow after work. After that I have a small list of mods to accomplish both asthetically and functionally. I'll be sure to document it all and post progress in a DIY thread for others to follow.

Nice find man! I've been looking for one of year forever. Had finally given up hope until my girlfriend who works at Walmart hooked up with one of the coke distributors and scored me a nice coke display fridge for free already gutted.

I'll be interested in following your DIY as I will be doing mine as well.

any updates on your build? I finally got a two door cooler that Im using for mine and was interested in your build. You can check out my thread if you want to see what I got.

The update is that the people that sold me this cooler for $40 had no idea that it worked! These style coolers use two plugs. One is for the condensor coils up top and one for the compressor assembly on the bottom. One of the cords was stuck under the compressor so I don't think the high school girls working the counter at the bakery had any idea it was in there. I fished it out and plugged them both in. Within 15 minutes it was dropping temp and after 30 minutes it was holding steady at 15 degress. I have it on craigslist at the moment. Thankfully I have some great friends and picked up an almost identical twin that actually doesn't work So build coming after I get it cleaned up and order the heating parts I need.

thats freaking awsome. glad it worked out like it did.. i just did a quick vid, and im uploading it to you tube right now. i go over how i did my incubator,, you might get a few ideas.. as soon as it uploads ill post the link.. unless thats concitered thread hijacking???? i dunno??? if YOU want the link, ill post it here.

Picked this up for free only to find out it worked also. Also have it posted on CL.



Then found this in Seattle for $100 couldn't pass it up. So this is my new incubator. Just got my heat tape and my spyder robotics herpstat so hopefully will be putting it together this weekend.
