PAM treatment causing high activity?

I just used PAM on some paper towels that I use for bedding. What I did was spray the towels and let them dry for a few hours. Now my question is I see all my snakes being very active and moving aroun their tubs, more so in the cool side and all temp are fine. Is this normal?

It could just be because you disturbed them to do the treatment, or maybe there's a scent to them that we didn't know about that the snakes are picking up and trying to "investigate".

Is it getting near feeding time? That could also be it.

By the way, were you treating the paper towels as preventative measures for mites or because they actually had mites? If they actually had mites, then I'd guess that's just them reacting to the mites and presumable discomfort from being covered in scores of little blood-sucking bugs.

as long as you had water bowl out and snake out when you sprayed your fine.

Only necessary to let dry for 1 mins unless you soak everything. Once dry return snake and water bowl with fresh water.

They will begin to roam as the PAM has a new smell to them. Once they get used to the smell they will go back to hiding.

Ok I figured that it was smell they are tasting like crazy. Also it is near feeding time!

Dont Feed for at least 2 days after treatment.

Ok, does it say that or is that a general that is just known I am one of those who don't want to risk anything!

Just general as the residue is still fresh and easily wiped away on rodents

Say my substrate gets wet will it reactivate the ingreadiants in PAM so they are harmful?
