Yes, I usually have to do it at least twice a day. I am converting to this though:

because it will be MUCH better at holding in the humidity. Luckily my tank has a screen that slides in from the side, so I'm going to turn mine over on the side and just slide the plexiglass in from the top. This method still works well for me though, I'm just trying different methods.
