Need help with some snake myths that I can use for a science fair project!

i looked up snake myths on google, but didn't find anything good for a science project. you might just make something up, like testing if the snake can learn to do a maze or something, like a rat can. That would be kind of cool

This is easy.

"If you drop a hair from a horse's tail into water, it will turn into a snake."
[Appalachian folklore...no doubt fueled by copious amounts of bad 'shine, i.e. "He's seeing snakes."]

All the OP needs is a horse tail hair and a glass of water.
