im sorry but why dont people do some research instead of just taking some petshop guys advice as gospel.i read about ball pythons for over 6 month before buying one.i feel for you a realy do but you obviously have access to a computer,why didnt you use it?.i am yet to find a care sheet online that doesn't recommend a thermostat.
i hope the poor little guy gets better soon
