    So frustrated with craigslist

I'm about fed up with craigslist. Reposted an add 6 times today, because I refuse to let flaggers win. People flag if you post a rehoming fee, and they flag if you don't post one. Do people have nothing better to do than to sit around and get their jollies off of flagging? I'm sorry, but I'm not going to give any animal away for free, especially to some nitwit who feels so entitled as to expect everything handed to them on a silver platter.

All hail the smart phone and unlimited data plans to be able to continuously fight this war.

Yep I gave up on cl bc of the morons. Sad really. I just couldn't deal with the absolute idiots in my area that reply or flag on cl.

Same here, theres even someone posting on mine saying something along the lines of "flaggers unite", flaging what seems to be anything over a 50 dollar rehoming fee, AND anything with no fee at all, its rediculous

Posted for the first time a couple of days ago, and haven't gotten anything quite yet, but I'm also not in a very high traffic area

Gotta love the CLL, Craigslist Losers!!!! They get upset when you dont away the snake for dirt cheap. I understand Cl rule about no animal sales, but that is mostly aimed for dogs & cats so there are so many in rescues. But people get stupid with thaat rule and ball pythons. I hate CL.

It's really hit or miss.. I'll post the odd animal up on craigslist every now and then and get lucky with no flags. If you have several animals you're offering though I suggest finding a more suitable venue else get used to being frustrated.

With the ball pythons I never have problems, but any we've posted on CL have been normals or hets that aren't much anyway. The morphs we've found people for through word of mouth, and have a website up and plan on posting on kingsnake once we have some more expensive morphs available.

This add is for a parrot... and I'm not rehoming a bird that is more intelligent than your average CL flagger for $20. People are willing to accept $20 as an acceptable price for a guinea pig rehoming fee, but insist on the exact same price for a bird that comes witha huge cage and is just as much of a commitment as a 4 year old child. Nuh uh... not going to happen.

Personally, if they aren't willing to pay for it, then why should they think they deserve it. I am sick and tired of people who get pets because they are cute or cool and 3 months later the poor thing is dead because the mmron owner got bored or it wasnt cute enough anymore! I have seen this way to often, and it is frustrating because i live in a small apartment and cant rescue them all, the humane society is a bunch of jerkwads, and the spca wont do jack. And these poor animals are forced to live or die daily!

I just checked my account and my ASF ad has been flagged and reposted over 100 times since June.

At first I would have to post it several times a day. Lately it will stay up for a few days at a time. Maybe they eventually figure out that you won't go away

Good news is, every time post gets flagged and removed, I get to repost it, and it essentially stays right at the top of the CL list. consequently, I've gotten more emails than if the flaggers were to allow the post to simply drift down to the bottome
