Outback Reptiles
Hey guys! I just wanted to throw a line out and see if anyone could help me out. I was looking around for a calico male of breeding weight. I posted that I was looking for one on facebook and Ryan Buckley contacted me. His facebook page says he works for Outback Reptiles.
I did a BOI on Outback in general and found a lot of information, however, I never came across anything about a Ryan Buckley working for them. There is plenty about Ian and about Josh but I didn't see anything about Ryan.
Does anyone know if Ryan Buckley really works for outback? I don't wanna get into trouble because I believe somebody on facebook if it isn't true lol.

I would just contact Outback directly and inquire about said calico. That way you don't run any risks. Good luck, I hope it works out for you.

Re: Outback Reptiles
I will say one thing...Do some GOOD research before you chose to deal with them. I have had a dealing with Outback and will never buy from them again, no matter how good the deal is. If you choose to buy from them, quarantine 90 days strictly. I would not plan on breeding the male you buy this year. Good Luck.

would you mind providing a few details from your transaction, either here or in a PM? I have been fortunate enough to find a few people I trust to buy from, and I will always go to them first when I'm in the market for a new purchase, but I believe Outback is local to my area, and at least one person on this forum has recommended them to me in the past. it would help to have as much information as possible to decide whether I'd even consider doing business with them.

Ryan was working the Outback table when we bought our lesser pastel girl. My experience was positive. She's a BEAST and will eat anything you give her and is growing like a weed. I was pleased with my transaction.

I bought Snakes for them.
First was unproven Granite Female Bp. I had problems on begining with feeding response but she was almost breeding size in begining of the winter so.... She is very agresive eater now and very pretty animal.
My second one was WC African Striped House snake. He is awesome animal. I bring couple of mites with him but again... that's animal from show so there is always a risk.. that's what quarantine is for.
Ian is Importer/Breeder/Fliper so always ppl gonna have different experience with tis type of seller.
Overall I'll buy from them... with little caution but will buy again for sure.

I have bought several animals from Outback and Ryan. I have never had any issues and I have been very happy with what I have gotten from them. Keep in mind that Ryan works with Outback, but he also breeds and has his own animals that he does sell. They always back up any animal I purchase (both Ryan and Outback)

Re: Outback Reptiles
I have known Ryan for several years. He is a ball python breeder who happens to work for Outback Reptiles. When doing deals with him people should try to separate the two facts. Are you doing a deal with Ryan the breeder or Ryan the Outback Reptiles staff member? Ryan is as meticulous with his own animals as the best ball python breeders out there. Like many people reading this he is a real lover of reptiles. If you're the type of person who can sit in your snake room and stare at your own animals for hours and hours you will find yourself in good company with Ryan.
Ryan and I have done several snake deals over the years and I look forward to doing more in the future.
