New Phone and Addiction

So, for the past 7+ years I've had the same cell phone and it has become so old that it is almost relic like. Every time I would go into sprint they would tell me to get a new phone and give the old one to them so that they can shrine it in a museum.

I LOVED that phone. It had been dropped, kicked, thrown...etc and still lived. I don't even remember what type of phone it was, other then it came out before smartphones haha.

Anyways, on new years eve I managed to actually break the darn thing, it took it tumbling out of my pocket and falling down three stories onto concrete to kill it. So as a gift to myself I decided to get a fancy new phone with my upgrade that I've had sitting for years haha.

Ended up getting an iPhones4, and I feel like my grandpa attempting to figure out how to work the thing. I've sorta gotten the hang of it and currently find myself addicted to angry birds and Instagram. Instagram is amaaaaaaaazing.


I'm also quite miffed that the phone takes better pictures than my camera .


Anybody else have one and know some awesome apps? I'm really interested in finding some herp apps, or astronomy apps. I love space lol.

If you live on the this forum like I do then you need to get taptalk. It's 2.99 but it is worth it. I would rather browse the forums on my phone than on my computer now. There are other forums that has taptalk as well.

i have droid, and theres some great apps on there, alot are shared by iphone, the ones i play with the most are google sky, it shows all the stars, and you just point it in the sky like a camera, but you have to have an internet connection for it to work. i also play tap fish, you can buy and sell and breed fish and have multiple tanks and stuff, its become quite addicting, but also requires internet. also, is paradise island, its like simcity basically, and you dont need internet to play it. then theres alchemy, in that, you start with earth, water, air, and fire, and you combine them to make things, and combine those things to make other things, right now i have 158/380 combonations. i also like speed anatomy, it shows a cut away of a person, and tells you to click on different organs, its hard but pretty fun. and i also play words free/ words with friends, its basically an online scrabble game you can play with your friends. sorry for the book, but those are the ones ive been keeping myself busy with lately

Amazing Breaker is a really fun app. Check it out, I think they have a free version you can try first.

Tapatalk- a must, im using it right now lol. It allows you access to almost ANY forum

Shazam- your phone uses its recorder to "listen" to any song playing wherever you are and it will tell you what song it is

Pandora- internet radio

Angry Birds- really fun/addicting game

You can also make any website into an app icon on your homescreen for easy access if you use the site alot.

I've been wasting far too much time playing tetris. Oldie, but a goodie. Super fun with the touch once you get used to how it works. I've also played 400+ games of solitaire. haha I play when I can't sleep.
