Advice/Critique of Tank Set-up
I picked up my first BP a few days ago. He is an Albino. I was told he is a few months old. 19" long and weighs 87g. He is currently in a 10 gallon tank for the next few months and will be moved into a 20 long. I was told he will feel more secure in a smaller/tighter environment as he is so young. What's your thoughts on the tank set up? Is it too tight with the branch in there? Should I take it out or leave it in.
Thanks!

the stick is fine, no worries there. personally, i would throw some moss in front of the entrance to the hide on the left, that way he wont feel so exposed by the wide entrance. you basically want the snake to be able to go to a hiding spot where hes completly out of sight, he'll be more comfortable that way. besides that, i try to keep the hot side between 89-92, but 94 wont hurt him. and as far as i can tell, your good
also, welcome to the forum

Thank you for the advice and the welcome! I will definitely put some moss at the opening of the hide. Thanks again.

Yeah I agree! He's a featherweight, for now! So the shop I picked him up from was feeding him live small adult mice. This Saturday will be his first feeding with me. Should I go straight to a live rat pup?

Honestly, I think you should make sure he takes live adult mice for a while to put on some weight, then attempt to switch him.
