2010 Dwarf Lavender Albino Retic female (pic heavy)

I've had this girl a while now and absolutely love her. She's the sweetest snake and is around 5 feet right now, eating F/T XL rats once every 10 days. She doesn't have the typical retic feeding response, but definitely comes out fast when it's close to feeding day. I can pretty easily reach in and grab her out of her enclosure and she loves being out. She goes nuts for about 5 minutes after going back in the cage, trying to get back out. Her name is Sunshine and she and a Brazilian Rainbow boa are my only 2 snakes these days. Thanks for looking and Happy New Year to you all!

How old is she? I'm always interested in seeing growth rates of dwarf crosses like these.

She's a 2010 - not sure of the exact month. She was produced by Greg at the Retic Ranch. She was the product of a dwarf to dwarf breeding. I, like you, am curious to see how she continues to grow. I don't think she'll get over 9 feet. I'm guessing she'll top out at 7-8 feet and then add some girth. I have her on XL rats (f/t) every 10 days or so. I'll mix in large rats as well as the XL seems to be a big meal for her. I'm not looking to power feed her to try and accelerate her growth, nor am I trying to under feed her to impair it. I'm just following a reasonable feeding schedule and we shall see!

I'll be sure and document her rate of growth. Weighing her is tough, though because she's pretty active (although not flighty at all)

GORGEOUS! I think retics are really beautiful, but I would never feel comfortable with a fully grown one, so I really like the dwarfs. Maybe one day, I know I want a large-ish snake eventually, but not gigantic!

Beautiful girl you have there, she looks fantastic!
