Super Pastel? (Pic heavy)

OK so its been awhile since I posted anything about my collection, so wanna give an update on my stud and see what you guys think. I have had my suspicions about him being a super pastel, but keep telling myself its his het pied making him pretty. What do you guys think!?

My Lemon Pastel het Pied male as a baby:




Him now(I took these pictures in non-direct sunlight so the light would not enhance his colors. All Natural!):








Now before you say it, yes I know the only way to prove it is to breed him out...



He is also breeding with a Blonde Pastel het Pied,

He's not a super but he is an amazing looking Pastel though. I had one just like that and like a moron I traded him. Hes really great looking

My Blonde het pied female that he is breeding with as well also has a light blushed head, so my theory that it might be het pied related for his blushings is probable. I feel there is a gray area when it comes to determining super pastels sometimes. Cant count on all my fingers how many super pastels ive seen with minimum blushings but slightly more than their siblings, and how many normal pastels with many blushings (to include the head) and vibrant colors but not categorized as the super pastel. Now of course there are some super pastels that without a doubt you can tell, but still not all supers come out looking like a bombshell. Genetics are genetics, anyways what do you guys think!?

Exactly. If I were you, I would be much happier knowing he's an awesome pastel rather than a not so great super. You start with great pastels, and the supers (and other morphs) will be that much better.

The head isn't faded/blushed enough for it to be a super. Nice though.

I agree. Not quite enough blushing. On a good super the m head looks almost purplelish imo.
