Well to be 100% honest I have had a ton of reptiles since I was a young man. Everything from Garters to Retics.....I've bred a few and just don't have the time or space now for a huge collection. One of pride and joy moments were raising and getting dog tame monitors ....most precious to me were my Ornate and Nile monitors that I raised from tiny hatchlings.....even my vet didn't believe me I had dog tame Niles and Ornates till I brought in a very large and tame Ornate for him to see ! I have had Blackthroats, waters, savannahs, mangrove. I bred leopard geckos, corn snakes.....had Iguanas, water dragons, bearded dragons, king snakes, milk snakes, African rocks, tons of ball pythons, LOVED MY RETICS, had a sweet pair of borneos when I was younger.......Had more than my share of Boas.......and of course, I have raised many Burmese.
In truth, I love all reptiles.....even the Caiman that bit me ! lol ! I just don't have the time right now . I only have a super cool Borneo named Marley (she was named after Bob , my fav singer ) and I plan to purchase and breed corns again. This will involve my son as I am getting him one too.
Sorry for the long winded answer......It's a Jew thing ! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU MR. SPOOKY!!
BORNEOS BABY, JUST BORNEOS.

sounds like you have had your hands in about everything.. i like the monitors, but i dont think i could see myself having one. we have beardies, and they seem about hte right size for us now. you've also had the giants i would love to get one of those,, and my wife is cool with it, but i really dont think that im ready for such a BIG responsibility LOL...
good luck with the corns, its good that you get your son involved in things that you do,,, kids need positive roll models...
happy new years to yall up in ohio! stay warm!

I love bloods!!! First species of snake I owned (and only thus far). Admittedly I just wanted one because they are so beautiful and was a little scared I was going to get tagged because of all the negative press. So when they settled in their calm, lapslut demeanor I was pleasantly surprised. I kind of like that they aren't very commonly kept too.

....thanks for the cool post. After I posted mine last night I realized that I totally forgot about the beautiful Carpet pythons I have kept......common and Jungle. I also had a Solomon Island boa for a short time.
Take care......winter is coming . Just read that a storm is brewing for us :-(

So, the counter for the bloodpythons.com board is at 0, but the board's not up yet.
I was hopeful...

There was a security conflict in the integration of 2 sections of the site, one of which involves customer data. Keeping that information safe is obviously a priority, so we have a specialist working on the issue today. We're planning to bring the forums back online this evening, and the rest of the site shortly thereafter.
