After the 2-3 week wait, offer a wean rat. Nothing bigger for good 2-3 meals till you know hes keeping it down.

Feed the one, then wait 2 weeks, feed another wait 2 weeks. If all is well then go back to your normal routine.

This is excellent advice. I would only handle him if its absolutely necessary during this process. Once you are back on the normal routine, you can handle him more regularly again. Handling does not necessarily cause a snake to regurge, but it can add some stress which, if a snake is prone to regurge, can end up creating a problem.

Likewise, be careful adding new decor to his enclosure right now. Disinfecting is good, but new stuff can add to stress. Glad you corrected the temps, but let him relax and be at peace to recover these next few weeks then treat him to his new digs. He doesn't need any undue stress right now.
