Have you palpated to count the eggs? how many?
I tried palpating but I really suck at it. My girl is also 3000g! She still swelled way up, so I am hoping for a large clutch!

Palpating is something I just suck at, at least with this big girl. I will continue to try it with my other females to see if I can figure it out. I have watched a lot of videos on it, but havent yet got it down. My other girls are right around 3000g also, but the one in her pre lay shed is shorter and rounder and the other 2 girls that are building are long, ya know? My poss het gstripe females that I am trying to prove out are both right close to 3000g but they are like 5-5 1/2 feet long or more. The 3000g girl in shed is only like 4-4 1/2 so she is thicker, thats why we call her bertha
