How to wash a snake?
Supposing one witnessed their BP drag themselves through a particularly wet turd, how might that person clean their snake? Just a rinse, or is there any snake friendly soaps? When he had mites, I put him in a shallow tub with a drop of Dawn...

That's such a great mental image! I just use a damp paper towel.

I toss mine into a plastic bucket with plain old water.
It might not get them squeaky clean, but then I can't imagine that a minute trace of invisible turdage is going to harm a snake.

W.e you do make sure you dry him before placing him back in the tub. They can develop an RI quickly if thrown back in there wet.

Please correct me if I am wrong bcoz I am new here and new to owning snakes. I put diluted Chlorhexadine in the tub and wash my BP name "big money".

They can? That's a new one to me. I've put wet snakes back into tubs lots of times and never had an issue. Plus, people with humidity challenges regularly mist the enclosures and wet down the snake.
So long as you're not bathing your snake in COLD water and/or leaving it exposed to cold ambient temps for a long period of time....and so long as the enclosure temps remain in their proper ranges, it shouldn't matter.

I've got a couple that get themselves all wet soaking in their water dishes, slop water all into their substrates, and they're never sick.

Ditto, Judy. My dog doesn't catch a cold when I don't blow-dry him after a bath, and my house is colder than the snake room. I doubt that a snake with no fur to retain the moisture is going to be in worse shape than my Boxer.

+1
yea to wash them, I just fill a the bath tub a few inches and let them swim around, mostly because I like to watch them swim around, some are so awkward doing it, some are pretty good.

When one of mine gets particularly gross, I put them in the shower. I turn the water on really low, adjust the temp, and wet them down. A dollop of baby shampoo in the palm of my hand, rub both hands together to get lather, then run both hands over the snake.
Rinse well, and your done.
