I picked up Repashy crested gecko diet first as a supplement for my mourning geckos, which I was told appreciated it as part of their diet.

I've since found that not only do the mourning geckos enjoy CGD, but, after some trials, they actually don't appear to require insects at all. I've raised several batches of hatchlings now on CGD, and my adults are eating it as their sole diet.

At the same time, I began offering CGD to my lygodactylus geckos, and found that they, too, remained in good health on a diet of CGD, and hatchlings and juveniles grew well and quickly on it.

Now, Repashy has a day gecko diet out as well, and I've been alternating that with the CGD for my Lygos and Mourning geckos. They will eat both, readily.

I'm beginning to think that this stuff, out of all the reptile foods that have come down the pipeline in the past decade, may actually be a wonder food. Certainly my Lygodactylus showed great improvements in their health, color, and activity when I added it to their diet, and showed no loss of any of these traits when I stopped feeding them live insects.

Has anyone else tried CGD or day gecko diet for other species of reptiles? If so, what were your results? Has anyone ever noted any adverse results?
