I was interested to see if they had to be cooled or not as well. I've never owned a hoggie, but I talked with a breeder about the cool down process for hognoses at a reptile show. He told me that he has never cooled and he has great results every year. I hope that helps.

I dont think you have to. My uncle had one and he never cooled it and it was just fine. He said when he bred her before though he did cool her, but I dont think you have to. Its Just a personal choice thing really. Some breeders will swear by it, while others dont do it and their snakes breed fine.
