I decided on a theme (since I have more than one and want more, lol). All my snakes will be named after mythology (any mythology in the world, probably a lot more Norse and Japanese than anything, maybe some Greek). The exception is my boa, Satin. It's been kind of a tradition to not re-name adopted animals.
