Visiting Florida soon.. what shall I do???

Well.. simple as that.. I will be going to Florida mid March, for 6 days.. Starting in Orlando, and going towards Tampa..

I am just wondering if there are any good places you would recommend visiting.. good scenery, eateries, etc etc etc..

    thanks

Clearwater Beach area is pretty nice, since you will be in Tampa.

I would chime in on some places but I live south of Orlando, so I don't know the area up there.

You might be surprised. Some people I went on a tour with last week (in Costa Rica) didn't like snakes, but when we saw all of them (various vipers, a boa, some colubrids, and other reptiles) they were in awe!

Maybe you/her will be pleasantly surprised!

I used to live in Tampa and in some areas the crime rate is really high and it can be kinda ugly. But in the tourist areas its not bad. But i guess that's the case in pretty much every big city lol.
Idk if you're a tattoo kind of person but I got my first one when I was on a special vacation in Florida with my best friend. Now that's a great way to remember great times
Also I went to Aquatica (sea world's water park) for the first time on this special vacation and it was amazing. Definitely the coolest water park I have ever been to. If you like water parks check it out.

I use to live out on Clearwater beach, and now live in Orlando. I have to say if you want to go to the beach Clearwater is the only one to consider. Also in the tampabay area is the Salvador Dali museum. It has the largest collection of his works. I'm not big into abstract art but the Salvador Dali museum is pretty cool. As mentioned before Busch Gargens is a must, crystal river springs is beautiful and there is a decient chance you will see some manatees, maybe even interact with them. If you are into airplanes there is a place called fantasy of flight. It is located about half way between Orlando and Tampa on I-4. They have a lot of cool planes.
