Re: A. avicularia Female!
Thanks guys .
I've had that happen before when I've had my Avic out Lol! It's scary sometimes .
She's ~4"+. I never handle her anymore, she never seemed to enjoy it anyway.

OMG....now THAT'S priceless!
I want a spider to help me get over my huge fear of them (like I did snakes), but from what I've been reading, you can't handle T's much and that's what's stopped me from getting one. I prefer animals that I can handle on a daily basis if I want.
Pretty T, Tiff!

It's awesome watching a T grow to size. I got her as a tiny thing from a friend. It's so wild how big and beautiful Avics get.

T's can be handled, but it doesn't benefit them in any way. I'm sure there's got to be a tarantula booth at your nearest expos--that's how I ended up handling my first T.
If you ever decide to get one, terrestrials are best for handling. Arboreals tend to be skittish, quick, and seem to know how to teleport .

Thank you John! I will admit, she has shot poop at me a couple times .
