Gravid Female Strange Feces??

Ok so paired female a bunch of times starting oct 1st, was pretty sure she ovy'd last week (heres that post http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...ghlight=clutch ). Today she pooped, it smells really bad and looks weird. I am posting a pic so hopefully someone will tell me its normal or if its not. Any help is greatly appreciated...

Not feces, its left over sperm/ Plug from the male.

OK, so its normal. I thought it was a mucas plug or something like in humans. It smelled really bad tho

Rich, are you sure those arent undeveloped follicles or a miscarriage of some sort?

IM positive, i see them all the time when my females take a nice piss, right after locking up a male. When you pick it up its got a gooey consistency


Most females when they mis carry the follicles are larger than that, something that small would just be absorbed and be done

Thats what worried me, cause they are kinda circular. But if she was in ovy last week and miscarried and slugged out they would be almost the size of full grown eggs right? I am still waiting for her pre lay shed. She has been spending some time in her water bowl the last 2 days...

If she had the huge swell like the ovy, then yes her follicles be golf ball size if she miscarried. But its not common in pythons as they will just absorb the follicles before ovulation

Totally normal, my females always have weird looking/smelling pee, at times, when gravid.
