    Any Reptile--What would YOU choose?

Ok, this thread is just for fun. If you could have any reptile in the world: wild, endangered, extinct, captive bred, whatever it may be and lets say you could provide a pristine habitat for that animal, what would it be? I hope all of you are having a Merry Christmas and I look forward to seeing your answers!

Hmm, this is a tough one. Id have to say the rare....unseen as of yet, new breed of Black Mambas that are nonvenomous
If those never exist, I'll take a Komodo Dragon

    Oh this'll be interesting!

I am still very partial to my snakes. I love how they look, how they feel, their personalities, their habits, etc. So it stands to reason that my #1 choice is going to be a snake. I do like a lot of different lizards and I'd really like to have a pair of emerald tree monitors one day. BUT my #1 choice of any reptile in the world would be an ontogenic "super blue" green tree python.

This is "Blue Frost", an F2 ontogenic super blue male GTP produced by Greg Maxwell. This is exactly what I'd want....

    Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Or an animal that isn't extinct, that I just don't have the guts to own but would if it was a perfect world and I couldn't die from it, a king cobra. I also wouldn't mind a giant tortoise, no particular species just a huge one.

The dinosaurs are more birds than they are reptiles (and velociraptor had feathers), so you could just keep a Cassowary...probably similar in temperament, if not diet. A bit bigger than velociraptor, though (it only stood 3 feet, unlike the ones in Jurrassic Park).

There are a few animals I'd love to keep and breed.

    Draco lizards
    Fiji Iguanas
    Dimetrodon.

I would pick longisquama, but they can't seem to make up their mind what it is, yet.

If I could choose one, I'd probably choose the extinct titanoboa, or a species of the Meiolania genus. These were 8 foot turtles that lived on land and had horns on their head and also had a spiked tail! I'd also take a Megolania, which was a huge monitor.
