    I'm 14 and take care of 3 leopard geckos, 2 mice and a ball python completely. I also do most of the pet related chores for the furry ones. They (herps) are much easier to care for than cats or dogs: no peeing or pooping on the floor, you don't have to feed them as often, less bites or scratches.
    I wasn't raised with herps, but I've always liked animals. I started liking reptiles when I went on a field trip to a camp which had a snake guy in 5th grade and got to hold a burmese python. Anyway, It's nice seeing others around my age on here.
