I've had my hog island since october and since then she has shed once, and is currently in shed now. She feeds regularly every week and has shown some nice growth in girth since i've gotten her. I guess it really depends on your boa.
One thing I've noticed with my.boa is that before she is about to shed, her skin gets extremely wrinkly and folds whenever she goes into an "S" shape. Her eyes barely show any cloudyness until they get really blue.
Other than that I find it very hard to tell when she will shed when compared to my BP. With BPs its so easy to tell :p
According to my records she has shed every month for me so yours should shed anytime now.
