It's not just one thing, but a constellation of different traits.
Here's what I look for:
Bright, light colors
Lots of blushing
Good temperament (I demand that in all breeding snakes)
Good appetite (also non-negotiable for breeding snakes)
I'll give an example, using one of my holdback females:
This girl I consider a good, but not perfect, example of the morph. She's a year old. Her colors are bright and bold, she has a fantastic, interesting stripe, she eats great, and has a good temperament. While not as light as an ideal lesser, her pattern makes her a definite keeper.
