    Options for microchipping ball pythons?

    So what are the actual brands of microchips and registration available out there for reptiles? My vet offers Home Again, but the registration fee seems pretty steep for an entire collection. And I heard there were smaller chips designed specifically for reptiles? Can anyone give me a brand name to google?

    But what really got me thinking about it was the latest report of a collection theft. I don't think microchipping really protects against theft, but at least it increases the chances that some of the animals might eventually find their way back home... these guys are my babies, right? It makes me sick to my stomach to think of them freezing to death in the back of a truck full of stolen goods.

    I vaguely remember seeing microchip service offers on Mike Wilbanks' website about a year (maybe more?) ago when you purchased one of his animals, though when I go to look now it isn't there anymore (the whole website has been redone since I last visited). He might have more info for you on the subject

    Yeah, the one animal I do have chipped is from Wilbanks.
