I guess I missed this section

Well I just started posting without even seeing this section. My real name is Conor. I am a senior at Florida State. I am a zoology major with a specialization in Herpetology. I have interned at 3 different zoos. I have worked with hots for about 3 years now. I currently live in Charlotte, taking a year off from school. I currently work at a local museum caring for their snakes. I have had herps my whole life, but I have never owned a Ball Python till now. Crazy right? Just found this forum because of help with my ball. But this site is absolutely amazing! I am very excited to contributing to helping with the site.

Hi Conor and welcome. I'm pretty new here too. How did you like UF's zoology program? I'm really interested in majoring in biology/zoology too and I definetly want to make sure I transfer to a school where they offer at least a herpetology class. Right now I'm going to community college in Connecticut to save some money. I have read ALOT of good things about UF's zoology program and that it is a good school to go to if you're interested in herpetology. I would love to hear an honest opinion from a student who actually went there. Thanks so much!

He goes to that other Florida school, their mascot isn't even a cool reptile! I was born there in Tallahassee(great herping territory) and a couple of my siblings went to FSU, bless them.

Re: I guess I missed this section

Hey Mike. I looked at FSU's and UF's program and they are both good. I choose FSU because of the money they gave me and i was young and didn't really look at the education. But honestly the program I have been most impressed with is the one at University of Miami. UofM, in my opinion, has the best program. But honestly FSU and UF's programs are really good. I am happy with my decision.
