How do get the white residue build up on my glass tank?

I have my bearded dragon in a 75gal glass aquarium and the ppl I got it from had water in out and there is a white residue built up on the inside of the tank...i was told it was lime build up...i cant get it off...does anyone know how I can get it off

Vinegar works pretty well for cleaning mineral deposits.

Scrub stubborn lime scale off with a Teflon-safe scouring pad that will not scratch aquarium glass, or use a razor blade to scrape it away.

Apply a paste made from salt moistened with vinegar directly to any remaining lime scale. Allow to sit for an hour then rinse.

Try using a vinegar soaked rag, it should work and I know it is used safely on aquariums for the white buildup. I don't think clr or lime away would be safe to use so I wouldn't suggest that in an animal enclosure.
