I don't know why is doesn't list how tight the infrared cone is (Field of View, D:S Ratio). I'm guessing it's 1:1, which is pretty poor.
I personally think the TempGun PE-2 is the best deal out there for a IR tempgun, even though it is $15 more it has a 6:1 D:S and a laser sight, which may seem unnecessary, although I've found it very useful.
I think the PE2 is a steal for only $35.

I picked one up on ebay last year that is 12:1. Im able to get a accurate ratign of temps about 15ft away from the laser points to.
The one I linked is 8:1 which is accurate to .2 oF
